This might be the last post on my Vegas trip. (Heavy on the MIGHT) Thanks for indulging me. The Atrium at the Bellagio is so full of fantastic visuals I just had to share a wee bit more.
In the evening there are so many more people out and about… remember it was only 105 (degrees) at 9pm in the evening. So, my first visit was in the evening. I just had to return the next morning… not only because of the beauty …BUT the roulette table was being very nice to me– so of course I didn’t want to be rude — I had to return some of the money they had so generously given me (not much but SOME)
The glass flower was stunning in the evening…but by day the Bumble Bee was very showy.
The Song: What a difference a Day makes – REALLY works here don’t you think?
What a difference a day made, twenty four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers where there use to be rain
My yesterday was blue dear
Today I’m a part of you dear
This frog was about 6 feet long and 3 feet tall. And those yummy hydrangeas were really that BLUE.
Then we headed off to the Paris — The Eiffel Tower By night is glowing– by Day the statues really become apparent.
“They” (not sure who They are) say, that the Vegas Eiffel Tower is about 1/2 the size of the original. It was so cool and huge! I would really like to visit Paris to see the original. (Did you know it’s the most photographed building EVER??)
Then there were these boys on the Bus –
(how did this photo get in here??)
They were really REALLY cute. (Hey…just appreciating the beauty)
Caesar’s Palace has the greatest statuary.
Then the replica of David — simply GORGEOUS. But I have always had an issue with this statue. Have you? Do you notice a proportion issue at all?
His HANDS seem overly LARGE.
Lastly– the presentation of the Gelato! Not only was it so creamy and cool… but the art work that went into the show case did NOT go unnoticed.

Hi Claudia Sweetie…
Oh my what a wonderful trip. What is this?
Let me see, we have bees, we have frogs, the Eifel Tower, so awesome.
Guys on the bus. I didn’t see you hugging that bus,
I think you were to busy over there worrying about David and
his hands.
Oh my gosh, girl you really had me going. I was having a blonde moment
for a minute and had to review. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! I sure needed this laugh
tonight. Your photography is so awesome. I love it. Truly I do.
Thanks for taking me on this beautiful journey with you. I have never been

It appears that the temperature wasn’t the only thing that was hot in Vegas! Love the “boys on the bus” shot!!
Enjoyed the contrast of the night and day shots! And I’m on board for the trip to Paris. The night shot of the Eiffel Tower is stunning!
Pam
There are so many things to see in Las Vegas! Your photos are fantastic..I like the boys on the bus, and since you mentioned it, I have to pause at the replica of David..You’re quite an observer, Claudia
Claudia,
Thank you for the smile this morning regarding David’s proportions.
I love the bumble bee, flowers and frogs and can’t help but think about all the hours it took to create that display. Simply beautiful.
Your Friend,
Deborah
Hi Claudia, I have enjoyed seeing your tour of Vegas and it sounds like you had a great trip! I have seen the original David and I had the same thoughts as you….Big Hands.
Hugs, Sherry
hehe, what a stinker you are!
So about David. I think he actually just came out of one of those Roman baths. I think it was VERY COLD lol
I did know that the Eifel Tower was the most photographed. Two of my friends were there last week . Randy and I were both there for the real one and the Vegas one.
You captured some incredible beauty girlfriend. AMAZING art.
Now those “guys” on the bus…………. yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Have a great weekend. It’s beautiful here. I did post last night. Maybe one a month isn’t too bad is it ???
Love You
Love Me

The bus boys are what we call scenery….
) All of my artist friends say that hands are the hardest part of their works…no matter what the medium is….never noticed David’s hands. So glad you’ve been sharing all your fun!
What a fun post, Claudia! OMG those hands on David are grotesquely LARGE!! eeewww….. Gorgeous shots of everything else- those blue hydrangeas in the first photo are beautiful beyond belief. Glad you had a great trip.
hugs, Sue
Hi Claudia!
Hmmm… oddly enough I never noticed David’s hands. Nope, not his hands.
Fab photos! You may convince me to go to Vegas yet.
thanks for hosting — Cass
Great one about the hands. Just amazing pictures as usual. Thanks!!
Ok I PROMISE to link up next time. This was a little too much beauty LOL I would scare them away with all the pics. I promise I will have a really sweet in two weeks or so. PROMISE PINKY SWEAR.
As for WY. Yes Wyoming. We lived there for one year. 1999-2000. Y2K. Randy was the only one who was so sure that NOTHING was going to happen to ruin all technology around the world… he was right, again!
We moved every year, loved it. Loved the States. I miss everything American.
As for a retreat? Writing and photography hum. Remember I have an author sitting to my left, and one to my right LOL I’m getting all the editing I need girlfriend. As for photography? Julie tried explaining all the gadgets on my 2 cameras OMG is all I could say. I’m one of those “just put it on AUTO, it’s going to work just fine” lol i did go and look into a macro lens. Holly Jesus, I need very steady hands or a tower to hold it still lol
Ok going to bed, but first I need another look at David’s hands ohhhhhhhhhhhh
Love Ya
Love Me

Claudia, wonderful pic’s from las Vegas. The Bellagio has beautiful decorations. I love the glass flowers. Love the guys on the bus too. Great post.
More WONDERFUL photos! Thanks so much for sharing your experience with the rest of us. I’m a bit late to share beauty I found in Taos, New Mexico recently … but better late than never, right? Right
Hugs and blessings,
Hi claudia!
Well, it looks like you had a wonderful time in Vegas! I am just catching up from being gone for a couple of weeks. What fun!
Hi Claudia,
Gosh, it’s been over 20 years since I’ve been in Vegas…. It was empty compared to what it is now. I would love to go to the Eiffel Tower..that place looks like the next best place other than the real thing…so beautiful.
The atrium and the gelato bar are wonderful too.
I’m still laughing over the statue of David…yes, there is a real problem with proportion there..poor guy. LOL
Happy Day,
Stephanie ♥
So much to see and do -love the tour! happy PS~
Hi, Fantastic pictures! Wowww! Thanks so much for sharing them! Awesome eye candy! I hope that you have a wonderful new week!
Hugs…
Bobbi
Love the post! Great photos and amazing observations.
Carol
My dear Claudia, you are so naughty! I’m looking at that statue of David and thinking…she’s not talking about that, is she? Much prefer the boys on the bus!!
We are going to have to go to Vegas – I love your pics but want to see everything for myself.
Thanks for making me smile today.
Judith
Your Vegas photos are amazing!! Thanks for sharing!
Ok, I seriously laughed until I tears in my eyes from the “hands” comment! Hilarious!
