Art on the Side

Heading out in the early morning, for me, is the best time to capture the light that falls to the sides of objects I find interesting.

I wandered to a near by “man made” lake.  The water was still, but that was about all. Joggers apparently find the morning quiet a wonderful time to find their stride.

This bell was the perfect contrast to the wood and water.

.

This weeks photo assignment was to find something we could transition into an art piece.

Never being able to find enough sunflowers, I am forever on the hunt!  This one transitioned well into a potential watercolor.

One more — maybe a little Andy Warhol -ish

May your week be filled with beauty! Remember to STAY in the DAY!

Hi Claudia, Your photos are a work of art, I love the bell and the sunflower. A very different look and very artistic. Intense color. The cherries are lovely and different.

Can’t wait to see you in Oct.

  9. Claudia,

At the risk of repeating myself for the hundredth time, you are gifted. You take the ordinary, point it out to others and make it extraordinary.

    Deborah
