Put a 1/2 cup of white vinegar with water in the sink. Enough to dunk the heads in the water. Give a little shake...and voila! The aunts will be swimming/drowning in the water. Aunts are very essential for Peonies. I know, I hate them too. I'm no great gardener but I do know about my fav flowers.
