The secret to bringing Peonies into your home is this simple trick.
Put a 1/2 cup of white vinegar with water in the sink. Enough to dunk the heads in the water. Give a little shake…and voila! The aunts will be swimming/drowning in the water.
Aunts are very essential for Peonies. I know, I hate them too.
I’m no great gardener but I do know about my fav flowers.

What a lovely collage! My only girl is 19 and refuses to wear pink because she says she looks like a Barbie Doll. Oh, to have such worries! You have inspired me to go back through the old photos of when she wore smocked pink dresses.
