Snow Cottage

   I like snow….used to live in Colorado [for 50 years or more] —and I gotta tell you, now that I’ve moved to the coastal waters and warmer temps…snow is pretty———only in pictures.

   Such wise words and words that should be heeded by so many of today’s parents. Sorry, but it saddens me greatly when I’m out and I see parents with their children, but their focus is on who’s on the other end of their cellphone. What do you think they are teaching their children?

    What a great quote, to bring me back into focus midweek. With my teens I don’t always stay on the positive side, because they aren’t acting the way they have been taught. Then again, I guess we all have those rebellious moments in our life

    I marvel everyday in what I am taught by my daughter.  Butterflies come alive because she taught me to see the colors of their wings just like you and the way you’ve always had such a dear way of being my friend through thick and thin.  Thank you, Claudia for fluffing the pillows and giving us a way to cozy up and be inspired through the chilly days.  Big Love!

    The flowers are lovely, but I prefer the snow laden tree and yard.
     
    I walked in such snow today. It was blue sky sunny too. Powder snow poofed up around my feet soaking my shoes but I didn’t care. Topped off with a cascade of chickadees dee-dee’ing me all the way down the path, begging for the seeds they knew filled my pocket. Tonight I relive it. The reflection in my mirror has a winter sun burn,  the kind you get when the sun has been magnified a hundred times by the white sparkley snow.
    There is the beauty that moves me.
