Do you focus on what YOU love?

Do you find it easy to Love what YOU love?

Recently reading about various peoples happiness projects, several have spoken about how hard it is to really know ourselves. Because to take a good hard look,  do you  find you are doing what you love or are you doing what others love?

Are you always doing for others before yourself?

I certainly know that in my younger days that certainly what my every day life was totally about and often I feel guilty now because now it’s all about me.  I believe in serving others but not to the expense of loosing who we are.

Don’t get me wrong, I love stretching and pushing and growing.  I am very excited that I can still learn.
I love Black and White old photos.  It seems that the depth of the stories are enhanced when the colors are gone and the simplicity is laid bare.

I am recently working on some projects turning colored shots into Black and White and it is not as easy as I thought it would be.  Vintage black and whites are so fun to study.

In coming weeks I am going to focus on what I know I love…

Tell me a little about what you love and how you focus on it.

Hope you find the beauty in your life!

Have a great week.

Very nice mosaic. I, too, have been trying some of my colored shots in black and white. Not all of them convert so well.

Well I for one love to have fun. I love to dance, I love music, oh and did I say I love my family and friends? YES I DO.
My fur babies are something else I love.
I am kind of selfish though really, yes I am. Babies for years and years, then young teens, now adults… now ME, and Randy.
I have so much in my head tonight I doubt I’ll sleep. Some great things, other not so great. Sasha is stable with her diabetes, my mom not so stable.
    Life goes on.
Love Your Black and Whites girlfriend.
Any news on how long your coming?

I recently have discovered the following quotes and LOVE Them!

*Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.
    Wonder Years T.V.

*The deep pain that is felt at the death of every friendly soul arises from the feeling that there is in every individual something which is inexpressible, peculiar to him/her alone, and is , therefore, absolutely and irretrievably lost.
    Arthur Schopenhauer

*In the night of death, hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustle of a wing.
    Robert Ingersoll

Your photography gives those memories a lasting impression merging the memory and emotion with a slice of the actual moment.  Quite a miracle!  Thank you for sharing your gift.  Linda B.

    Dear Claudia,
You asked what do we love… well, I was pulling up your website, which I love, and found an old posting titled crooked pots.  Look at post #26 from Sharon.  She could not have been more beautiful in her expression of love for you.  Sharon’s love rained down on both of us today!  Love, Linda
