As a young girl I used to dream of a fantastic bedroom; somewhere to call my own, with all my loves and desires in one spot. My mother graciously allowed me (remember it was HER home) to choose the color; and surprise surprise– I chose purple–actually Lavender.
Dreaming happen in bedrooms…
I believe that there is a very big difference between Dreaming and Wishing… Dreams do come true– we can make them. Wishes on the other hand are for fairies or elves to grant and they are entirely too wishy washy. (I was never able to rely on them)
Come with me as I share our Model Homes Bedrooms– they are simply Dream inspirations.

Master Bedroom

Ahh to Dream of Paris!

How about a Race Car?

Day bed with a Movie theme?

Inspire dreaming— Like Jiminy Cricket!

Claudia, I am so glad to see some real down to earth bedrooms posted. So many out there are so frou frou and utterly out of the question for the ordinary homeowner. You said “our model homes.” Do you work for a builder? I’m now working on one of our guest bedrooms- got it painted and need to order a daybed and some new blinds. It’s always something in this household. The contractor is here today putting up woodwork in 5 rooms. Now I won’t hear from the sister-in-law, “Sue, when ARE you going to get your door casings put up?” It gets old and I’veonly heard it every time she has come over for the past4 years….. LOL
Yeah, I know 4 years is a long time, but we had issues w/ the new door installation and have had the door replaced 3 times. So I don’t think 4 years is that long considering all the issues… But boy, it sure is looking good so far. Can’t wait for the finished product. Will post when it is all done. Thanks for sharing the photos. Sue
Hi! Thank you so much for entering my basket giveaway so that I could come here and visit you! Wow! What a great blog! Thanks for all of the inspirational photos!
What gorgeous bedrooms with lots of wonderful, inspiring ideas. My bedroom is my own, private haven and I love it to be full of things I love. Thank you for dropping by my blog
I’ll take the Paris room please, if that’s ok!
The Master Bedroom is also very beautiful; I’m trying to perk ours up a bit, but it’s never gonna look like this.
