What beautiful photos! Fabulous colors! As for The Road Not Taken which is one of my favorite poems, Karen Cox above, took the words right out of my mouth. She summed up my thoughts exactly.

Your photos are breathtaking. As to the poem, it’s the ambiguity that makes it so widely read. Its meaning lies in the imagination of the reader. I tend toward the later interpretation not because I’m a cynic but because I can’t imagine a life so perfect that there is no wonder or regret attached to it.

You have some very beautiful fall pictures. Such pretty bright colors. To me ,the man in the poem got to the point in his life that he had to make a decision concerning his life. We all have a chose as to how we live each day. He seems to have chosen the right path for a better life,

Hi Claudia,
First of all, this is one of my favorite poems. I have often thought about this poem, when making my life decisions.
I have never taken the safe road, but the one that others rejected. One way leads to another way, and although I would like to go back just out of curiousity…the ways have led me too deep to ever get back. I think this poem is a metaphor for those of us who never take the easy road. The last line, no regrets, sheer joy at the discoveries made.
