I am pretty sure I posted this photo sometime in the past; but I am working on another photography class (Prompt Addicts) and this weeks prompt was finding HEARTS in our every day surroundings.
One day, as I pulled up to get my hair done… behind a dumpster I found these glorious bleeding hearts. What a beautiful find.
When we least expect it, we can find beauty. And sometimes when our hearts are broken– a prompt to find our beauty and love is exactly what we need.
One of the projects my sister Sharon and I were going to work on this year was the Happiness Project. In her honor I will continue on.
Realizing that happiness is a choice and something I would prefer to the opposite, one step at a time… one foot forward.

Since January 1st 2010 -- I have been celebrating finding Beauty in our every day lives. Stay in the Day... be in the moment. Don't wait to live your life.
Stop and make a habit to find the Beauty and you will be amazed at how Beautiful your life is. Be thankful and remember:
"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change." Dyer

Awesome photo, Claudia. I adore bleeding hearts.
Happy Pink Saturday.
A happiness project. Brilliant. Make it a link party as well.

I love bleeding hearts. They never looked like flowers to me but rather nature’s little lockets.
One step forward, two back, three to the side, another forward — the dance called life. Just remember you are not dancing alone, my friend.

Claudia, this pic is just beautifully captured. So love bleeding hearts, I have several … they remind me of Mother & how she loved them. Beautiful idea for a ‘happiness project’.
Sending you loving hugs & warmth of the heart, my friend.
Have a beautiful PS weekend ~

Oh to see such beautiful flowers instead of all the snow and ice around here!
Will I be part of your “happiness project” this summer? I HOPE SO.
Deborah said it all. What a beautiful comment.
I must grow some of these beauties. Maybe when your here, we can go and buy some together, and plant them in your sisters honour ; )

Love this picture of the bleeding Heart flowers. You never know where you will find beauty, even if it is behind a garbage can.
What beautiful photos and to think you found those bleeding hearts behind a dumpster. But isn’t that so often how we feel when our heart is bleeding ~ like we’ve been left behind the dumpster? Love your post. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Sweet Claudia…
Happy Pink Saturday and I am SO thrilled to find you still finding beauty in each day. You know that Sharon would want it that way. How lovely to decide to still carry out the Happiness Project. I am going to click on that link and check it out. I haven’t heard of this before, but if you two were going to do it, and you carry that out, she is still speaking to you sweet one, and you are still hearing her speak. (through your heart, which I know is as BIG as TEXAS.)
I love seeing the bleeding hearts, and how ironic to find them growing by a trash dumpster. I would say God was definitely speaking to you that day. Why he even painted a picture. How special is that?
I continue to keep you in my prayer sweetie. Please know that you are SO loved. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry
Bleeding hearts are so beautiful. Remember her in your heart forever. Hugs and prayers are going your way.

So pretty!!! I love bleeding hearts and have attempted to grow them a couple of times – but they always die on me – I think I need to try again!!
When we lived in GA, I was able to grow bleeding hearts. They are a miracle flower for sure. Who would have thought something could be so beautiful. Happy Pink Saturday, Char
Hi, I was thinking about you tonight. There is something so beautiful about Bleeding Hearts. I love the music that you chose for your post. I am sure that your sister watches over you every minute of your days. Whispering how much she loves you and how beautiful you are.

Sending so much love your way as you are going through such a difficult time. Thinking of you.
I love everything on your beautiful playlist. Oh, and the bleeding hearts are gorgeous!
Oh Claudia! Condolences on your loss. Sending good wishes your way.
Oh my, we and our camera’s. We will be toting our “eyes to the world” with us. Bleeding hearts are the weirdest little flower. Isn’t amazing when you really look at them that they can just grow into something so unusual in the garden. And who decided they would be called bleeding hearts? Don’t you just wonder about these things? Maybe not.
Looking forward to meeting in person this summer!
This photograph is simply stunning! Like the bleeding heart flower.
Coming in to see how you are? I think it’s time to hear your voice again, don’t you?
Julie is flying in from Van. next Thurs. I can’t wait. Much needed girlfriend time. We only have 6 nights together and I have to jam so much in. Ice skating on the canal, ice sculptures, sister Lolotte, snowmobiling and of course Randy’s cooking and wine testing lol.
I hope your heart is healing, and that your looking forward to our meeting. I think it will be a good thing for your soul… sista : )
An email is coming your way soon, I promise. I’m waiting on Wendy.
Love You
