Welcome to the FIRST
Fridays ~~Finding Beauty.
Too often we just seem to be sleep walking through our life. (Some day remind me to tell you my REAL outlandish sleep walking stories… they will curl your toes.)
Typically we have STUFF to do, and most of us have a “To do” list.
So… let me ask you this question… When accomplishing all we do for our children, our spouses or our employer do we find the time to see the beauty around us?
It’s there whether we notice it or not. I believe IF we take the time to notice– our life takes on an enhanced version. It’s no longer typical — it’s lovely and can be extraordinary.
Our life will be better for it and then we will not only become a better mother, spouse or employee — but a much better US!
You will probably tire of my quote by Wayne Dyer
When you change the way you look at things– the things we look at change.
So– this is our challenge to take a moment and STOP… look, smell, slow down break out the camera and share with others what you think is beautiful.
Beauty in a child’s smile? Beauty in a comfy bedroom? Beauty in a romantic bath?Or Beauty in nature?
It’s all up to you– YOU are the driver of this project– You show us what you think about Beauty and let us see if it really is in the eye of the beholder. Ideally it would be funnest if it was original work of your own… but oft times we come upon something fantastic on the WEB… and have to share– that would be great too! (just be sure to give credit to the artists or authors)

FIRST – Post your Friday ~~ Finding Beauty photos and Post, along with your Friday ~~Finding Beauty logo / button
Be sure to link back to: http://www.dipityroad.com so that your lovely readers will be able to see what others have to say and who are participating.
Make SURE– you have completed your post and are ready to go BEFORE you fill in MckLinky.
USE your exact blog post link (also called a perma link) not just your general address. (your link will be removed if it doesn’t link to your exact posting)
VISIT– please take the time to visit as many of the participants as possible. You know how much we all love our comments and cheering one another on is what this is all about.

Hi Claudia, great idea! Hope you don’t mind that I posted a link to a post I did on December 30th, for me it was the most wonderful, beautiful thing I saw over Christmas.

This a wonderful idea..your first participant, Ellen b., is the one who inspired me over a year ago to start noticing my world. I finally have a better camera, although still have the shaky hand syndrome….but I am looking forward to this. It’s so good to focus on what is good around us…to stop and notice….to choose encouraging things in life.
The sidebar photo didn’t work for me either but I just right clicked on the photo in your post and saved image as to my graphics folder and then added it like one of my photos. I had a meme for a while and used another link service…it could be tricky….hang in there…we’ll be patient and work around the problems if McLinky decides to have a bad day.

And your poor dog, little ones have a difficult time with deep snow, don’t they? I shovel a path from the deck to the ground below but most of the time our little guy just goes right outside the back door – on the deck.
