A different look

Welcome To Friday~~Finding Beauty

Another hick up in my system again– sigh– Thanks for the patience on the post.

When you change the way you look at things — the things you look at change.

Wayne Dyer

Straight out of the camera (SOOC)

Change — a little Sepia boost

Or maybe a little Gritt

This is called ” Holga” … reminds me of an old Movie

Love this Orton-ish

The same photo…just looked at a bit different –  Which do you prefer?

I like them all in a personal way… try this with a drive home from work?  After picking the kids up from school go a different way… Look at your home from the opposite way you drive home.

Change your perspective and I am betting that your vision will be a bit different.

Just a thought :)

TTFN~~ Claudia ♥ ♥

Stop by Beverly’s for the Pink Saturday fun!

Also, a new found spot… Lovey’s place Fabric Photo Memories.

How fun…I am intrigued by several of them…the Holga and the Orton-ish were the newest method to me.  I need to go check out Picnik.  Hope you have a grand weekend!

  3. Hi Claudia,
Beautiful!   I so want to learn to edit my photos and be more creative!.  I like all of them too, but  Orton-ish is my favorite.  Thanks, Yvonne

  4. Hi Claudia, the 3 sisters here! We have joined in with your beautiful meme this week. Thanks so much for having us!

Claudia – that is a beautiful scene.  Don’t you just love playing with the photo editing programs?  I use about three different ones.  Probably would have to if I’d only learn to use Photoshop!  Have a beautiful Friday.  xoxo Nancy

  6. Claudie says:

Well I don’t have to pick up kids from school, but I will have Randy take me on a Vespa ride. It’s a beautiful day here today.
You know I never play with my editing programs… I better look into that. I think I would like to change some to black and white. I love your black and white. Yup a little spooky though.
I might look into WWC later this summer. I really need a break. I will make sure to come and see your space. Sounds like fun.
    Have a great weekend Claudia.

  7. Hi claudia!

These pictures are just gorgeous! I love the different looks. I don’t think I could pick a fav. All of them are wonderful. And you are so right regarding looking at things in a different way.  We recently went through a rough few days here and the only thing that really kept me together was trying to see the situation in a different light. I know it sounds weird, but for me, that is how I managed  to get through those days.

It is really fun to play with your photos. I love trying different things with them. I think I like ‘holga’ best. Have a great weekend.

  9. Hi Claudie,
I’m going to have to give picnic a try – your photos are so beautiful! Thank you for the post and have a lovely weekend!

  10. Kim says:

Claudia this is one of your best posts.  It’s so striking.  Your talents as a photographer, wow.

  11. Kim says:

Claudia, I forgot to add my fav is the last one, the Orton-ish one.  Beautiful.  It was between the first one, the original and this one.

  12. DeniseMarie says:

Claudia, love the post!!  I’ve seen for the bazillionth time this week that the Lord wants to bless…longs to be close and wants the best for us.  We can’t look with a sad/pity/gloomy attitude!  It is a terrible tragedy when I allow the world to swallow up my joy and get me looking at stuff all wrong.  I got it straight with the Lord’s help this week and the blessings began flowing again immediately!!  I mean from foggy/gloomy lense pictures to clear/sunny/happy shots.  lol

  13. I can’t decide which of the gate photos I like best.  They are all enchanting!
That Wayne Dyer quote is one of my favorites!

  14. Jill says:

It’s so much fun to play with photos! I love all the variations you created.

  15. Valerie says:

Thanks for the heads up on your Friday meme. Although a little late this weekend – I did link up my Favorite photo Friday post. I am a school teacher and we are at such a critical time in the school year! Just a tad crazy – I know the lazy days of summer will soon be upon us!
Your flower photo’s are beautiful. I love the way you share the different subtle changes in the photo’s – such a good way for us to all learn – what we like – and even try it.

  16. Jay says:

I quite like the ‘old movie’ look!  Very atmospheric!  On the whole though, I like the SOOC photo.  Very nice.  :)

You’re right though, it’s worth changing perpective now and then. It’s amazing what we notice when we do!

  17. Absolutely BEAUTIFUL variations on your marvelous photo and a perfect quote this week!  I love playing with filters too ;-)
    Hugs and blessings,

  18. Sherry says:

    Good Morning Claudia Sweetie…
Oh how I have missed blogging and I have missed Finding Beauty Friday. I hope to be back soon. I love the new look, so beautiful you are so darn creative girlie.

I loved your share today. How gorgeous this place is. I could prance right through those gates and down that little lane of love. It looks exquisite. How beautiful of a place to take me.

I love the flowers also. You find beauty in so many places with that lens of yours. One of these days I am going to get back to Utah and go out with you and that lens. I would so love to see these beautiful places that you take me to each week in person. I can just hear all the nature surrounding me as I look at these beautiful photos.

Thank you for sharing sweetie. I sending many hugs and much love to you. Thank you for your prayers and your sweet thoughts for me while I have been trying to get better. My asthma is still troubling me and I am still have trouble filling my lungs as I should. I continue to try though. Love you girlfriend…Sherry
