Shhhh– Just a day of watching clouds go by…

Frost wet air makes almost a water color effect.

 

Rhapsodies in white
and the fairest of blue,
pre-nuptial visions of tufted preludes
and painting a picture
within the mind’s eye,
I watch clouds perform
as they softly float by.

   I started singing Joni Mitchell’s song when I saw the title of your post…
   Rows and flows of angel hair, and ice cream castles in the air, and feather canyons everywhere, I’ve looked at clouds that way……
   We have sunshine today…I’m thinking I’ll be looking at clouds and singing all day.  )

   I had to laugh when I read Pam’s comment above … I did the same thing, but with a different song “there were clouds in my coffee, clouds in my coffee”

    Such dramatic cloud formations in the last photo.  And Pam’s comment has me head-singing Joni Mitchell, too.  Hmm. I must have that CD filed away someplace.

    Magnificent cloud photographs here!  The first looks like skies I’ve seen lately until I scrolled down to your snowy landscape.  The last is so amazingly dramatic!  Thanks for sharing
