It’s that time of year– When we nestle into our homes, start baking bread and decorate. *sigh*no, no I won’t be baking bread unless I want my hinnie bigger NO!!!…BUT I did break out the good ol glue gun and only burned my fingers ohh … 10 2 times. (yes, it’s been a while since it was plugged in.)

Look at me re-cycling an old wreath (back side) Now could I call myself “green” ?

Front side, only looking a little bit tackie after spending several seasons in a cramped box.

Items to choose from.

The Basic “In need of decoration Front DOOR” … seriously, can’t you hear it screaming for a make over?

I’m thinking it looks much nicer… do you?

The classic orange Autumn pumpin, asking for the same bit of make up. I am not really sure if this was the REAL before pumpkin or not- I took just a couple of photos, then forgot which one I dressed up.

I used my black permanent marker– but I am thinking I should have used paint… (Note to self…next year)

Well done! Love the touch of feather in your wreath. It all looks lovely on the forest green door. Thanks for sharing. ~ Sarah
I love your wreath, especially the pomegranate! October is pomegranate month around these parts. I adore them. And I love your photo collage, makes me with it wasn’t 100 degrees in these parts…lol.

Great looking wreath. Definitely says Fall!
I love that you used a more burgundy color palette in your wreath rather than bright orange. I also love your pumpkin with the arrangement in it and the drawings on the skin.
Your wreath is stunning! Love your mosaic, too. Guess it’s time to get out my fall things!
What a lovely wreath, and I love what you did with the pumpkin. Gorgeous mosaic to celebrate the beginning of Fall. I just went out to get a cinderella pumpkin yesterday. It’s such a beautiful time of year.

Beautiful fall decorating and mosaic!
Hi, Claudia, thank you for stopping by the party! And it’s nice to meet you. What a beautiful wreath on your black door. I love it, very Fallish and adds so much this time of year. I’ve got to get busy & get my little bit of Fall out. I don’t do all that much, but I’m having a Fall party on Oct. 1st, so I’d love to have you join me for that too. Hope you’ll come back often.
Now there’s the TRUE artist of the Family!!
Beautiful work as always! Now you can come make one for me and my door!!
Love Ya

What a wonderful wreath…but that pumpkin! Loooove the doodling! Great post!
Spectacular door decoration! I’m getting my door (and house) painted in a week or two, depending on weather, and then my door will need its first decoration against the new, richer color.
Neat idea…I never would have thought to use a permanent marker or paint to draw a design on the pumpkin…but I will now
The wreath looks so nice….really “pops” off the black front door…love it. Also love the decorated pumpkin…you are very handy with the black marker!
I so love that wreath! It reminds me of a hat I once had made ( I live in NY, and we love our hats) anyway, what insight and talent you have. Thank you so much for sharing.
Carol
What an amazing job on the pumpkin and wreath. Wish it would cool down here so it felt more like “fall”
