Jack O RS

We only get to act like silly kids but one time during the year (unless you are like me and are silly most of time, but that’s for another discussion)… I believe that October is the fun FUN month!

Fall Decor RS

Remember the great yard decor at my Sisters? Well, they just came back from Disney Land and were inspired …

Trick or T

Just for the week of Halloween is the yard transitioning into a more FESTIVE event…

Mosaic Monday: Purple Cabbage plants

Mosaic Purp cab RS

With Autumn bursting with Oranges, Rusts, Browns and Golds — I found some perfect Purples amidst them all.

One of my all time favorite QUOTES:

What if…all the people who come into your life, every single one of them, (even the pesky ones) ASKED to be there… so that YOUR light might brighten their way?

Stop in to say Hi to Mary at Little Red House for her weekly gathering of Mosaic Makers… they are the best!

Have a beautiful week.

Victim of the Beast

Filed Under Uncategorized | 38 comments

Single tree RS

Venturing out to find some leaf-less trees, I thought the perfect spot might be the Cemetery. (Obviously they ARE not leaf-less yet)

1862 OLD RS          This particular one is cracking and falling apart… wonder if it will make another 100 years +.

LionAnd then I came across a very unique head stone… never mind the Lion that he could look clear through you… *shiver*

lilly-gray-tombstone RS

Then…Amidst other graves with headstones that read… “In Loving Memory…” or ” Beloved Mother” or “Honored Father…” was this very Unique headstone of

Lilly E  Gray… June 1881 to 1958 a Victim of the Beast 666.

After doing a bit of reserch this is actually a legendary grave site. For years there have been rumors and speculation as to what this tumbstone ment. Obviously a reference to the New Testements Revelation Chapter 13th about the anti-christ.  No one has done more reserch than Richelle Hawks (click here if you are interested in the entire story) who still is looking for anyone who would have any answers about dear Lilly…

Finding the truth will, perhaps, establish finally that Lily was not a victim of the Beast at all, but only of a notorious and cruel epitaph. If she was a victim in life, we’re sure she now rests in peace…

Angel ending RS

And is an angel among us…

Please stop by to say hi to our lovely hostess Susan at  A Southern Daydreamer with OUT DOORS Wednesday.

Witchie Weekend And Mosaic

Filed Under Halloween | 74 comments

♥ ♥

I know –  it’s kinda sorta the same theme (ok, maybe exactly) … BUT—I had so many fun comments from this weekend’s fun – I just wanted to show this a wee bit more… :)

Witch Mosaic 09 RS

Mary and her friends at Little Red House has her regular gathering and I wanted to share with them too. Please forgive my Wickedness!

BW grave yard

Tis the Season– Ohh I know— it’s a wee bit scary when the sun starts going down and the moon come up…. They say Witches and goblins abound.

Just by chance I happened upon a group of them, and well, frankly I was a little bit taken back.

I thought there would be Crows cawwing in the air, clouds of colored smoke billowing from cauldrons and Witches cackling non stop… but nooooo…

I didn’t find any of that on my outing this week, in fact what I saw would’ve made you Gasp! Oh, yes… it seems that not many  of them were taking serious their Witchie-ness duties at all.

Witch 1 RS

I found some tugging wagons of pumpkins for pumpkin pie I suppose. How scary is that???… NOT!

Pitcher RS

The weather was so fantastic that I found a group playing Baseball…

Baseball butts RS

I know it was rude but I had to capture another creatures BUTT that was bigger than mine. :)

Practice flying RS

One novice in fact was practicing her flying… (big cheater– check out the safety wire. *pffft*)

Hit the wall RS

But then– I guess if you don’t practice  this  could happen if you weren’t paying attention when you were out flying about–  SPLATT!!

Now that’s gonna leave a mark!!

Spell books RS

Finally I came around a corner to find this great wall of potions, critters and Books on Spells…

Witches Work RS

Alas, I found a couple who took their job serious. Granted, it’s weeks before the official day… but common there are stereo types to live up to– right??

:) Now wasn’t that just fun?

That’s because today we are participating in My FIRST time — Halloween, A Haunting Magical Celebrationby A Fanciful Twist– Please stop by and see all the other creative bloggers having a fun time this weekend.

Halloween 2009 Button

Check out the cutest Craft projects Beeb and Mr C did… Great job Mr 8 year old!

Beginning craft RS

Craft RS

Craft 2 RS

This great craft you can pick up at any Hobby Lobby :)

Now, for one of the few jokes I remember…

Casper RS

There once was a cute little ghost who wanted something new to wear for the Halloween ball.

There were no Ghost shops in his village so he went to his friends for help with his attire.

*sigh* he had to stay home from the ball, because NO one gave a SHEET!

Now, on that silly note– check out Bev at Pink Saturday of course… have the BEST weekend!

Thanks for laughing with me… and I promise to be much more SERIOUS — Cough– come October the 31st!
